Fluon® PFA is a copolymer of tetrafluoroethylene (C
2F
4) and perfluoroalkoxyethylene that can be processed using conventional thermoplastic techniques.
It has a wide operating temperature range (-200° to +260°C) with excellent chemical, electrical, mechanical and surface properties and is supplied as solid, cylindrical pellets.
Applications include:
• Blow moulded bottles
• Chemical plant
• Chemical processes (injection moulded precision parts)
• Tubing
