 Silica Gel:

Silica Gel
Silica Gel is a high-grade desiccant, which consists of SiO2. It is chemically stable and has no water solubility, corrosiveness or delinquency. Silica Gel is odorless, tasteless and harmless.

Three of our products: Hishi beads, Hishi pearl and S-Gel are categorized by their particle sizes and forms.

Silica Gel is widely used in food market and industrial applications because of their high absorbing capacity and safety.

 Silica Gel products:

Product name Particle size Main usage
Hishi Pearl (granular) 1.7mm to 3.5mm Desiccant for package
Hishi Bead (granular) 2.8mm to 4.5mm Desiccant for industrial application

 Applications include:

Desiccant for packaging Foods snacks, seaweed, tea, shiitake mushroom, dry foods.
Machines communication tool, precision machine, electric machine, motor
Optical instruments camera, microscope, lens
Drugs medical supplies, chemicals
Industrial application Dehumidification of pressurized air
Dehumidification of normal temperature air
Dehumidification of a variety of gases
Catalyst support for chemical reactions

 Characteristics of Silica Gel:

Sunsphere consist of spherical particles which do not cohere. It provides excellent tactile
feeling because these particles freely roll
excellent absorbing performance.
chemically stable, and no alteration or delinquency occurs after absorbing. There is no
worry of corrosion or pollution in environment.
not eroded except by hydrofluoric acid or strong alkali.
re-usable by thermal regeneration after absorbing.
